Our dermatology clinic is the cornerstone of Secret Medical's medical aesthetic treatments, as the dermatologist's word is the key in complicated cases and rare complications.

It is also possible to have a general dermatology consultation, during which skin diseases (rashes, spots, blisters, lesions, warts, skin growths, skin infections) are diagnosed and treated.

Most common dermatological conditions:

• warts
• abnormal birthmarks
• allergic skin lesions
• dermatitis (skin inflammation)
• akné
• psoriasis (psoriasis)

Some conditions are treated with medication, others with lasers or cautery. Outpatient surgery may also be necessary because the lesion needs to be excised or a sample taken for an accurate diagnosis.

We are committed to promoting the mole clinic, as there is no more important dermatological examination than mole screening. This screening can be life-saving, as the incidence of malignant skin lesions is increasing (even at a young age), and early diagnosis and treatment is essential.

As a general rule, everyone should have a dermatoscopic mole screening once a year (regular cervical cancer screening is also a priority for women), and if you have a history of a malignant skin condition, you should have a mole screening every 3 months. Pregnant women and women of changing age are also recommended to be screened every 3 months, because hormonal changes in them more often trigger skin processes other than those at rest.
