How it takes place
the Revitalize mesotherapy treatment?
- 1.Consultation
- Although it is a microneedling treatment, which is not essentially a cosmetic treatment, with Secret Medical the medical background allows the mesotherapy to be performed by an aesthetic practitioner. During the consultation, your therapist will assess your suitability, take your medical history and discuss your ideas and treatment options. If there is no reason not to, you can have your chosen Revitalize treatment at your first appointment. - 2.Treatment
- The day before mesotherapy, a skin scrub is necessary. You can do it yourself at home, or you can choose a cosmetic treatment (we recommend our HydraFacial treatments!).
Immediately before the treatment, the area to be treated is cleaned and then an anaesthetic cream is applied and left on for 15 minutes. In the meantime, we will select the appropriate Revitalize Mesotherapy Serum. The anaesthetic is then removed and the treatment is completed in about an hour.
At the end of the treatment, a veil mask is applied to help absorb the residual serum, followed by a soothing mask (SkinCeuticals Phyto corrective mask) and sun protection. - 3.Revitalize after
- You should not expect any serious side effects after needle mesotherapy treatments (you may experience minimal redness or oedema), but it is important that you follow the rules below (which will of course be explained at the treatment)!- Cosmetics and make-up should not be used for 24 hours, and avoid retinol and acid products;
- Avoid intense sweating sports and sauna for 1 day;
- and, as always, make sure you protect yourself from the sun, don't sunbathe and don't go to a solarium!
- 4.Reproduction
- We usually recommend 3 suitable treatment series.
